Indian Fertility Society (IFS) was established in 2005 as the need was felt for the professionals to interact and share knowledge and keep up with vast advances in this field on a continuing basis. It became a platform for young upcoming infertility professionals to interact with the more experienced members. With the growing need for infertility management in the country, a great future lies ahead for this progressive society. IFS has seen an unbelievable journey from 20 founder members to a current strength of 2200 life members and 23 state chapters which has resulted in nationwide participation. IFS also believe that progress lies in training and research. The academy provides a forum for presentation and publication of research activities in these fields through conferences and journal of the academy. The research activities are strongly encouraged amongst the members of the academy through scholarships, prizes and awards during the annual conference.

Countrywide CME’s & workshops on IUI have been organized by the society. Special interest groups have been formed on various aspects of infertility to concentrate efforts on research in this field.
We are very much confident that the conference will prove an excellent platform for interaction among infertility specialists, gynaecologists and paramedical aids, working in various medical colleges and research institutes across Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. This will promote the exchange of ideas and research interest in the field of subfertility.
